【Zig Zag】は『読書室やシアタールームがある、自分たちの時間をゆっくりと使える家を設計して欲しい』というご要望のもと土地探しからスタートしました。

内部構成は周辺環境やクライアントのライフスタイルを考慮し、中２階のLDKと２種類の空中デッキを建物の中へ組み込んだご提案をさせて頂きました。
１つ目は隣家や道路からの視線を考慮し、外壁を立ち上げた中へ落とし込んだ中庭の様な空中デッキです。
このデッキは外部空間を内包しながら、LDKと和室（スキップフロア）を繋ぐプライバシーの高い場所となっています。
２つ目は、南にある隣家の屋根越しに開けた空中デッキです。
ここは屋外リビングとしても使える様に、約7.5帖の大きなデッキとしました。
この2つの空中デッキを、季節や用途に応じ使い分けることで、開放性とプライバシーの両立が可能となる建物を目指しました。

【Zig Zag】started in search for a land in the hope "to design a house where one can spend a relaxing time spent in rooms such as in a reading and theatre room."
Upon receiving a request from the Madam "to be able to smoothly drive in and out from the house onto the road" we did the best we could so that the building faces south.
This allowed us to structure the interior as a 2LDK on the second floor providing much space for great lighting and a splendid view.
Additionally, the open-air deck falling through the middle of the exterior walls offer ample privacy as we considered giving more personal space between the neighbours and the streets.
